Day by day Itinerary
Day 1 Chengdu-Lhasa
Leave Chengdu for Lhasa. The comfortable and neat carriage will give the travelers a good mood.
Day 2 On train
Admire the sceneries along the way, and enjoy the charming landscapes of Sichuan Basin and loess plateau.
Day 3 Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Hoh Xil, Tanglha, Lhasa
When entered the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, travelers can admire the amazing Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the marvelous sceneries along the way. At the mouth of Kunlun Mountain, travelers can appreciate the magnificent view of the mountain and the glacier. Day 4 Lhasa-Potala Palace-Jokhang Temple-Bajiao Street
Visit the Potala Palace in the morning. The Potala Palace has a elevation of more than 3700 meters. It is divided into two parts: White Palace and Red Palace. The White Palace is the stupa of Dalai Lama and the Red Palace is the Hermitage of Dalai Lama. In the afternoon, visit the Jokhang Temple, which has a long history of 1350 years. It is the oldest temple in Tibet, and a central temple with high status. Bajiao Street is the epitome of Lhasa and even the human landscape of the whole Tibet.
Day 5 Lhasa-Namu Lake-Yangbajing-Lhasa
Go to Namu Lake in the morning. It is regarded as one of the three saint lake of Tibet. There are numerous small islands with various shapes in the lake. Peculiar rocks and caves on the Zhaxi Island forms an impressing scenery. The charming Namu Lake composes the stunning beauty.
Day 6 Lhasa-Linzhi
In the morning, go to Linzhi along the Sichuan-Tibet highway. Admire the landscape of Lhasa River and Niyang River. Tramp over the 5400-high Mixuela Mountain and primitive forest to feel the genuine natural beauty. Visit the Basong Lake after lunch.
Day 7 Linzhi-Lhasa
Visit the “Cypress King” in the morning, which situated in Lizhi. There are hundreds of cypresses on the hill, among which there is a huge cypress that has a long history of some 2500 years. Then return to Lhasa, and enjoy the charming sceneries of Bangjietang Grassland.
Day 8 Lhasa-Chengdu
Return to Chengdu by plane and finish the happy journey.
