Day by day itinerary
Day 1 Shenzhen-Urumqi
Leave Shenzhen for Urumqi and transfer to hotel for the night.
Day 2 Urumqi-Shanshan-Turfan
After breakfast, go to Shanshan (290kms about 4.5 hours) by vehicle and visit Kumutage Desert (about 2 hours), another name is “desert in the city”. After lunch, continue our trip to Turfan where you can see the best-reserved Uighur villages with a history of more than 1700 years. Stay in Turfan and three meals will be offered.
Day 3 Turfan-Urumqi
After breakfast, go to visit the ancient water conservancy project-Karez, which has been existed for more than 2000 years. Karez is the most important water resource in Xinjiang. After that, go to visit the Grape Corridor (about 3 hours). Return to Urumqi at afternoon where on the road you can have an outside view of salt lakes, Dabancheng wetlands, the biggest Asian wind generation station-Dabancheng Wins Generation Station and reservoir. Stay at hotel and three meals will be offered.
Day 4 Urumqi-Heaven Pool-Urumqi
After breakfast, go to Tianshan Mountain Heaven Pool tourist site by vehicle (about 120kms 2 hours). After that, go to visit Red Hill Park, the landmark of Urumqi. Climb on the peak and you can have a whole view of Urumqi. Stay at hotel and three meals will be offered.
Day 5 Urumqi-Shenzhen
After breakfast, go to visit Dabaza Business Street where you can buy Uighur handicrafts and goods for your family and friends. After lunch, take plane back to your own home and journey ends.
