Day by day Itinerary
 
Day 1
The travelers will be greeted by the local people with Khatag, and then register in hotel to take a rest and adjust to the altitude stress.
 
Day 2
Visit the Potala Palace in the morning. Since the seventh century AD, the Potala Palace has been a resident place of the Dalai Lama and the political and religious center of Tibet. The Palace was divided into two parts, the White Palace and the Red Palace. It is the integration of wisdom of the Tibetan people and is the world's highest building group with ancient castle-style. In the afternoon, visit the Jokhang Temple, which was built in seventh century. Situated in the old city of Lhasa, the Jokhang Temple is the Tibetan Buddhist Center and the Tibetan Buddhism's Holy Land in hearts of the followers. Then shop in Barkrol Street, where you can buy various kinds of handicrafts with strong national characteristics.
 
Day 3
Leave Lhasa for Linzhi. Pass the Mila Snow Mountain in the way, which has a altitude of 5230 meters. Then go to the Basong Lake, which is called the “Jiuzhaigou of Tibet”. Admire the landscape of Niyang River. The whole trip will take 9 hours with 410 kilometers.
 
Day 4
Visit the Huge King Cypress and Cypress Forests. Go to LulangLinghai and visti the Nanmenba Nation of Tibet and experience their customs. Pass the Sejila Mountain Col, and view the splendid landscape of the mountain. Return to Lhasa in the afternoon.
 
Day 5
Leave Lhasa after breakfast. Having passed the Qushui Bridge, the travelers will see the Yamdrok Lake , which is surrounded among mountains and is regarded as one of the three saint lakes in Tibet. Then arrive Jiangzi, which is called “the barn of Tibet”. View the magnificent remains of Anti-English Castle. Then go to Shigatse. It is an old city with a long history of 500 years and the political and cultural center of post-Tibet; moreover, it is the residence place of all the Panchen Lama.
 
Day 6
Visit the Xanadu of Panchen-----Tashilhunpo Monastery. Tashilhunpo Monastery was built in1447 by the command by the first Dalai Lama and afterwards it become the residency of all Panchens. The Buddha in the temple is the biggest bronze one in the world. Leave Shigatse for Lhasa in the afternoon.
 
Day 7
Leave Lhasa for Namu Lake, enjoy the beautifl Lhasa River, North Tibetan Grassland, and Qingzang Highway in the way. Visit Namu Lake, which is regarded as one of the three saint lakes of Tibet. Overlook the Nyenchen Tanglha, which is called “the God of Brightness”. Visit the Yyangbajing Hot Spring in the afternoon. If fortunate, the tourists could come across the blast spring and geyser. Return to Lhasa in the evening.
 
Day 8
Leave Lhasa and finish the happy journey.
