Day by day Itinerary
Day 1
Go to Urumqi by plane.
Day 2
After breakfast, go to the hottest place in China---Turfan. Along the way, travelers can admire the biggest wind power plant in Asia as well as the landscape of Dabancheng City. Visit the Gaochang Ancient city, which has a long history of more than 1000 years. Admire the Karez , which is one of the top three projects in ancient China. Visit the Mountain of Flames, Wanfo Palace and experience the customs of Uygur nationality.
Day 3
After breakfast, go to Tianchi Lake by bus. Admire the ancient trees, magnificent waterfalls and big Tianchi Lake and small Tianchi Lake, Tianshan Snow Peak etc. Return to Urumqi after lunch. In the afternoon, visit the provincial library, Hetian Jade Exhibition, and bazaar. Go to Dunhuang by train in the evening.
Day 4
Arrive at Dunhuang in the morning. After lunch, visit the treasure of Chinese grotto----Mogao Grottos. Visit the Moon Spring and Whistling Sand hill, which are famous for the unique landscape on desert. Visit Leiyin Temple and luminescent cup factory in the afternoon.
Day 5
After breakfast, go to the Jiayuguan and visit this start point of the Great Wall. Go to Lanzhou by train in the afternoon.
Day 6
In the moring, arrive at Lanzhou and taste the prestigious Lanzhou Noodles. Visit the Baita Hill, Zhongshan Steel Bridge and waterwheel. Return to Beijing by train.
Day 7
Arrive at Beijing and finish the happy journey.
