Architectural Engineering Institute, Anhui University of Technology consists of department of civil engineering, department of environmental engineering, department of architectural environment and equipment and comprehensive experimental center. This institute offers 6 undergraduate programs (civil engineering, water supply and sewerage engineering, environmental engineering, architectural environment and equipment engineering, safety engineering, engineering management) and 3 postgraduate programs (environmental engineering, municipal engineering, heating ventilating and air conditioning). Among the above-mentioned programs, the environmental engineering is a provincial level key discipline. Architectural Engineering Institute was founded in 2003. Currently, it has over 80 teaching and administrative staffs, over 1,840 undergraduate students and 85 master degree candidates.
Architectural Engineering Institute has a strong teaching team. Currently, it has over 70 full-time teachers, including 10 professors and 22 associate professors. Among the teachers, 28 are doctors and 36 are masters.
In recent three years, Architectural Engineering Institute has undertaken one project financed by state natural sciences fund, over 30 projects at provincial level and other 60 projects. The total scientific research funding amounts to 6 million yuan. Besides, this institute has published nearly 140 scientific research theses.
Architectural Engineering Institute has wide academic exchanges with the institutes of higher learning and scientific research institutions from many foreign countries, such as Osaka University, Argonne National Laboratory of the US Department of Energy, etc. And it invites the famous professors to work as the visiting professors of the institute.
Architectural Engineering Institute now has 5 professional laboratories and a digital design center. The total investment of the teaching equipments amounts to over 5 million yuan.

Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree: Applicants must be under the age of 35 years, and in good physical condition, holding a non-China passport and having graduated from high school, academic records, have an HSK test score of grade 3 or above.
For Master’s degree: Applicants must be under 40 of age and in good physical condition, holding a non-China passport and a Bachelor’s degree, have 2 letters of recommendation from full professors or associate professors, have an HSK test score of level 5 or above.
