School of Metallurgy and Resource, Anhui University of Technology was founded in 1977. At the beginning of the foundation, this school only has two specialties and 3 classes. There were only 108 students at that time. After 25 years’ development, it has been developed into a nationally well-known school which has the department of metallurgy and ecological environment, department of metallurgy and process simulation, department of heat energy and power engineering, and experimental center of metallurgy. And now, this school has great influence in the metallurgy of iron steel industry of China. Currently, School of Metallurgy offers 4 postgraduate programs--- metallurgy of iron and steel, physical chemistry in metallurgy, heat energy and power engineering, and metallurgy engineering. The metallurgy engineering major is a provincial level key discipline. And it has a provincial level key laboratory of metallurgy engineering and comprehensive utilization of resources.
School of Metallurgy and Resource has established good cooperative relationships with many famous universities and colleges from lots of countries, such as America, Britain, Sweden, Germany, Japan, Korea, etc. This school has sent over 40 persons abroad for visit, exchanges and cooperative researches.

Entry requirements
For Master’s degree: Applicants must be under 40 of age and in good physical condition, holding a non-China passport and a Bachelor’s degree, have 2 letters of recommendation from full professors or associate professors, have an HSK test score of level 5 or above.
