The Distinguished International Students Scholarship was set up by Ministry of China to sponsor international students who have been enrolled by designated Chinese universities as Master’s or Doctoral candidates or are now carrying out their Master’s or Doctoral studies.
If you would like to make the application, please come to Foreign Student Office (Room 101) for the detailed information and prepare the application materials before May 15, 2007. (The applicants who have been enrolled in Beihang University for more than one year and do not enjoy any other kind of sponsorship are eligible to make the application.)
Application Materials
1. Application Form can be obtained in FSO (Room 101) or downloaded from http://www.csc.edu.cn
2. Copies of last diploma and degree certificate.
3. Copy of Admission Notice as master’s or doctoral degree student.
4. Record for courses during the study in universities.
5. Study plan (Should include the understanding of the major and plan for further study. No less than 1000 words for master candidates and no less than 2000 words for doctoral candidates.)
6. Released articles or academic achievements during the study period.
7. Recommendation letters from two professors or supervisors.
8. Official note issued by the Embassy of candidate’s country in Beijing, in which approve the candidate’s application of the scholarship, and should indicate that the candidate is not included in the exchange program between the two governments.
