The School of Business of Central South University bases on fostering business elite inheritance and making evergreen bases. After its development and reform for so many years, it has developed itself into the front rank in the schools of Business in China. The discipline of Management Science & Engineering is regarded as the key national discipline. The School also covers 2 mobile post-doctoral stations, 2 first-level doctoral stations, 6 master stations including one first-level disciplines of Practical Economics, one second level discipline of Western Economics, and other disciplines of MBA, Project Management, Logistics Engineering, Industry Engineering, 7 majors for Bachelor’s degree including Information Management & Information System, Electronic Commerce, International Economics & Trade, Industrial & Commercial Management, Finance, Accountancy, and Financial Management.
At present, the School covers 160 faculty members and over 5000 students. It constantly postures innovating and opening teaching and research which will make a way to the international advanced teaching. The faculty in the school has a high education level, a reasonable structure, a balanced combination of its members with strong vitality and vigor. It covers one academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 40 full professors including 28 doctoral supervisors, and 51 associate professors. What’s more, the School has applied a considerable number of international scholars and professors to engage in teaching and research as well. It owns more than 89 MBA part-time supervisors in domestic enterprises. Most of the teachers have played a leading role in discipline construction and scientific research and even other diversify organizations and occupations.
It has advanced teaching equipments, rational teaching theories, and high-qualified faculty in capable of teaching and scientific research. As a result, it has made great progress in various fields and won a high reputation domestically and internationally. It owns 28 teaching and research laboratories, multi-media classrooms and MBA practicing bases. In addition, the School puts great emphasize on academic exchange, fostering talents change, scientific research exchange, and advanced teaching exchange.

Application time
For Bachelor’s degree, the duration for application is from February to June 30. The academic year begins on September 1.
For Master’s degree and Doctoral degree, the duration for application is from March to July.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree: the applicants with an educational background equal to high school graduation in China, have Band III certificate in HSK, or have studied Chinese for more than one year.
For Master’s degree: the applicants with an educational background equal to a Bachelor’s degree in china, recommended by two professors, have Band III certificate in HSK, or have studied Chinese for more than one year.
For Doctoral degree:the applicants with an educational background equal to a Master’s degree in china, recommended by two professors, have Band III certificate in HSK, or have studied Chinese for more than one year.
