The College of Media-arts has four Bachelor’s programs, including Science of Animation, Artistic Design, Broadcast and TV Editing and Directing. At present, the number of undergraduate students in the College has reached 2000.
The College owns the separate media arts building which integrate with the function of teaching, experiment, practice and research, which covers an area of 12,498 square meters. The College also has a standard studio covering an area of 400 square meters , the office for watching film and television, director room, recording studio, dressing room, studio, print studio , apple studio, network art room, art and design room, two-dimensional animation Room, three-dimensional animation room, non-linear editing room, linear editing room, and so on.
The College has a high theoretical teaching team, and there are 6 professors, 8 associate professors, and 60% of the teachers have Master’s degree or above.
What’s more, the College attaches great importance to the integration of the art and high-tech, and has a strong emphasis on the practical capacity of the students, many student have obtained outstanding results in a variety of competitions.
In recent years, the teachers and the students of the College have made outstanding achievements, including the 50 of the teachers have completed numerous projects, 17 of the programs are the provincial and ministerial programs.

Application time
Application is accepted at any time of the year in CQUPT. And the spring semester begins around the beginning of March, while the fall semester begins at the beginning of September.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s program: Be in good health condition; with senior high school diploma and HSK certificate of level 4 or above;
For Master’s program: Be in good health condition; with Bachelor degree and HSK certificate of level 6 or above;
Note: for preparatory students, they should be with senior high school diploma and without Chinese knowledge;

Note: for foreign students who want to learn Wushu, the tuition fee is RMB 7,000 for one semester and 14000 for one year; For Chinese language learning, the tuition fee is RMB 600 for one week, RMB 6000 for one semester and RMB 12,000 for one year.
