The precursor of the Faculty of Management was the Department of Economics and Law which was established in 1993. And the Faculty was officially founded in 2006. It is regarded as the largest non-engineering faculty in GUET. At present, the Faculty has a number of 300 full-time graduate students, 400 part-time graduate students, and nearly 2000 undergraduate students. The working staff is composed of full professors, associate professors, lecturers and senior experimentalists with 70 members. The Faculty also invites some famous scholars and experts to work as guest professors.
The Faculty boasts 3 master-level programs, including Management Science and Engineering, Enterprise Management, Industrial Economics, 3 master programs for Engineering, namely Industry Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Project Management. Besides, 9 bachelor-level programs have been provided in the faculty, such as Accounting, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Industry and Commerce Administration, Financial Management, E-Commerce, Public Affairs Management, International Economy and Trade, Logistics Management.
Based on profound professional knowledge, the Faculty puts great emphasize on training the students’ computer application ability, manipulative ability and comprehensive qualities. For many years, the employments rate has reached over 95%. Up to now, the Faculty has cultivated hundreds of advanced technology talents who contribute a lot to the country.
The Faculty attaches great importance to academic exchange. It has established friendly relationship with lots of universities. The Faculty is able to host international conferences as well. It regularly invites a large number of domestic and international famous scholars to be shared, part-time and guest professors in the school. They play an importance part in the discipline construction. Great efforts have been made to carry out scientific research and to establish practice bases.

Application time
The deadline for application is September 1 every year.
The academic spring semester is from March to July, while the fall semester is from September to January.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree:
Be 18 years old, senior high school graduate, HSK3 certificate or above, in good physical condition.
For Master’s degree:
Have Bachelor’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
For Doctoral degree:
Have Master’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
