The Faculty of Information & Communication began to enroll undergraduate students in 1980. Currently, it has an enrollment of 2800 undergraduate students, and more than 300 graduate students. The Faculty has a capacity of a high-qualified work team with reasonable structure and superb academics. There are over 30 full professors and associate professors with 80 Doctoral and Master’s degrees.
The Faculty boasts one doctoral program in Signal and Information Processing, 7 master-level programs including Communications and Information systems, Signal and Information Processing, Electronic Science and Technology, Physical Electronics, Electronic Circuit and Systems, Microelectronics and Solid Electronics, Electromagnetic Field and Microwave Technology. It is also running 5 bachelor-level programs, namely Telecommunication and Information Systems, Electronic Information Engineering, Electronic Science and Technology, Micro-electronics, Information Warfare Technology.
The Faculty puts great emphasize on practical teaching. It has a capacity of experimental instruments and profound facilities which provide good and convenient conditions for the students. They also offer an indispensable basis for teaching, scientific research and the exploration of science and technology in the school. The Faculty has undertaken a large number of research projects on different levels and many of them have won great awards. They have published over 380 academic papers with 50 embodied by SCI, EI.
Up to now, the Faculty has cultivated a considerable number of senior engineers and management talents. And therefore, the Faculty has great influence on the related occupations in domestic academic world. The Faculty always keeps talents training remaining dominant. It constantly promotes the reform of education and the mode of training students, and attaches great importance to foster the students’ innovative spirit and practical ability. With years of effort and development, the Faculty has formed its own features.

The deadline for application is September 1 every year.
The academic spring semester is from March to July, while the fall semester is from September to January.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree:
Be 18 years old, senior high school graduate, HSK3 certificate or above, in good physical condition.
For Master’s degree:
Have Bachelor’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
For Doctoral degree:
Have Master’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
