The history of the Faculty of Laws in Guilin University of Electronic Technology can be traced back to the year 1993. After more than 10 years’ development, the Faculty began to enroll undergraduate students in Law. Until now, the Department has experienced more than 15 years’ development.
At present, the Faculty of Laws offers two Bachelor’s program in Science of Law and Governmental Affairs Administration. The total number of students in it has reached more than 400. Aiming at training advanced talents in the area of Law, the Faculty has paid more attention to the development of its students’ practical ability and always urged the students to combine their knowledge with life.
Currently, the Faculty owns one training base in the university and 6 teaching bases outside of the university, and all of these facilities have provided perfect chance for students to learn more about their subjects.
The Faculty also boasts an excellent teaching and research group. Most of the teachers have rich experience in the teaching activities of law, and many of them have published certain papers on some academic journals. In the future, the Faculty will try its best to develop its strength in teaching and research of the law area, thus train more graduates who are useful for the society’s development.

Undergraduate students: 4 years
Postgraduate students: 3 years
Application time
The deadline for application is September 1 every year.
The academic spring semester is from March to July, while the fall semester is from September to January.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree:
Senior high school graduate, HSK3 certificate or above, in good physical condition.
For Master’s degree:
Have Bachelor’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
For Doctoral degree:
Have Master’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
