The predecessor of the School of Mathematics and Computing Science was the Department of Computing Science and Mathematics which was founded in 1998. Currently, the School offers two Bachelor’s program and four Master’s program, with 86 graduates are studying in it. Among these courses, the subject of Applied Mathematics has been regarded as a key subject in Guangxi Province.
At present, the School has a faculty of 73 people, including 66 professional teachers from famous universities or research organizations in China. Among these members, there are 12 professors and 19 people with Doctoral Degree. This well-organized teaching group is in charge of the teaching issues of mathematics from undergraduates to Doctor in the university.
In 1999, the School began to enroll undergraduate students in Information and Computing Science, with more than 500 students are studying. The School attaches great importance to improve the practical skills of its students. In recent years, many students have won awards in the field of computing.
Besides for its excellent teaching ability, the School also boasts strong strength in research. Since its establishment, it has finished 5 national scientific research programs and 6 reform program of teaching in Guangxi Province. And the teachers in it have published more than 300 papers in famous academic journals at home and abroad.

Undergraduate students: 4 years
Postgraduate students: 3 years
Application time
The deadline for application is September 1 every year.
The academic spring semester is from March to July, while the fall semester is from September to January.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree:
Senior high school graduate, HSK3 certificate or above, in good physical condition.
For Master’s degree:
Have Bachelor’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
For Doctoral degree:
Have Master’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
