Offering four Bachelor’s program and two Master’s program, the School of Electronic Engineering is one of the most important schools in Guilin University of Electronic Technology.
Currently, the School of Electronic Engineering has more than 1378 students with various levels, including 100 graduates. The School boasts a high quality faculty consisting of 70 people. Among them are 7 professors, 16 associate professors and 19 instructors. 59 in the faculty own Master’s degree or above.
At present, the School covers 8 departments: Department office, Department office for students’ affairs, Teaching and research sections for environmental engineering, Technology and Equipment of Observing and Controlling and Electronic Science, etc. It also has one experimental center.
What’s more, the School is famous for its strong strength in research activities. Since its establishment, it has hosted or joined 8 national research projects, 28 provincial research programs. The total amount of its research funds has reached 13 million yuan. The main achievements of the School’s research activities are carried out in the field of BIST and BST technology research, VXI System research and so on. All these research results have won great reputation for the School, which are also important for the development of the School in the future.

The academic spring semester is from March to July, while the fall semester is from September to January.

For Bachelor’s degree:
Senior high school graduate, HSK3 certificate or above, in good physical condition.
For Master’s degree:
Have Bachelor’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
For Doctoral degree:
Have Master’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
