Tour Schedule:
Day 01: Beijing(hotel)-Badaling-Juyongguan-Mutianyu
Our well-trained English-speaking tour guide & private car/van will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 in the morning. Then your memorable Great Wall tour begins.
First we will drive to visit Badaling Great Wall (the most famous) for 1.5 hours, and then go down to transfer to the Juyongguan Great Wall (the most magnificent pass under the heaven) where hike for another 1 hour or so.
Later on, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, drive 1.5 hours to Mutianyu Great Wall (the prettiest section in Beijing) for 1.5 hours'hiking.
Drive for 1.5 hours to Jinshanling after whole day hiking on 3 different part of the Great Walls, check into the local courtyard hotel (3-star level) at Jinshanling village, then dinner.
Enjoy the rest of time on your own, either taking a rest in the hotel or wandering around this small village at the base the of Great Wall.

Day 02: Jinshanling –Gubeikou- Simatai -Beijing(hotel) (B/L)
Walking the Great Wall is a unique experience and adding fun to your China vacation. Today's hiking tour covers three sections of Jinshanling, Gubeikou and Simatai.
Get up early in the morning, if weather permits, hike onto Jinshanling Great Wall to enjoy the breathtaking Great Wall sunrise, then a light breakfast on wall will be offered.
Note: If weather is bad, breakfast will take place in the hotel and start to hike on the wall at 8:00 am.
Later on, enjoy hiking from Jinshanling to Gubeikou for 4 hours or so. Driver will pick you up at Gubeikou Great Wall.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
And then, getting back to the vehicle to transfer back to the city (2.5 hours'driving).
Arrive at your hotel/apartment before 6:00 pm. Unique trip ends!

A: The sections of the Great Wall closest to Beijing are Badaling and Juyongguan, both are very popular and can be reached easily by expressway. Mutianyu Great Wall is only a bit further, the view at Mutianyu is very special, and the UNESCO officials were convinced and agreed to list it as one of the World Heritage.
B: Jinshanling–Gubeikou section, runs for more than 15 kilometers and has more than 50 watchtowers. These sections are much wilder, unique and less crowded. With the extra beauty of being in a weathered, partly crumbled state, the sections you visit today will fulfill your Great Wall dreams.
C: There will be a long time walking during this tour, we highly recommend you wear sport shoes and clothes which are suitable for outdoor activities.
