Tour Schedule:
Your personal English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 9am. Then take a taxi or bus to the southern entrance of Nanluoguxiang hutong where your 3 km/1.8 mile-long walking tour starts from. Nanluoguxiang is one of the most famous Hutong districts in Beijing. Hutongs refer to the old style alleyways where large number of one-story courtyard houses are located in Beijing. Many of these areas are now protected in order to preserve their unique architecture. Nanluoguxiang has proved to be a mix of history, fashion , shops and bars.
Walking along Nanluoguxiang to the northern end, then continue walk to the Beiluoguxiang hutong, and walking through many hutongs alleys to Chengxian street (scholar street) – a famous street with ancient imperial college and Confucius Temple locate. Visiting these two famous sites for an hour, then continue walking to the Lama Temple – A temple with rich Tibetan culture and history.
Have typical Chinese lunch in a local restaurant afterwards.
Transfer back to your hotel by means of subway, taxi or bus at 1:00 pm. Lovely tour ends!
