Tour Itinerary
Day 1, Beijing-Qufu
Hotel/apartment pick-up at about 22:00 by our vehicle & tour guide. Transfer to Beijing Railway Station to board an overnight train to Qufu.

Day 2, Qufu One Day Tour
Around 07:30am, upon your arrival our local English-speaking tour guide and private vehicle pick you up from the railway station and take you to a 4-star hotel for breakfast. After a short rest, we will begin our exciting tour to the Confucius Temple (around 1.5 hours visit), Confucius Family Mansion (around 1 hour visit) and Confucius Family Graveyard (around 40 minutes visit).
After an entire day of sightseeing, we will drive to Taian (around 1.5 hour) and check into a 4-star hotel.

Day 3, Mt. Taishan One Day Tour-Beijing
After having breakfast in your hotel, you will be picked up around 8:00am. We will go to Mount Taishan, the renowned World Natural and Culture Heritage site. We will take a travel bus to Zhongtianmen, the terminal of the hillside road (25 minutes drive) and from here we will walk ten minutes to the cable car station. We will take a cable car to Nantianmen (within 15 minutes at a very low speed) then walk through Tianjie-Zhanlutai to reach the top, Yuhuangding. We will enjoy breathtaking views and the fantastic scenery at the top. We will then walk down the mountain (at least 1.5 hours) or choose to take the cable car down (40 minutes).
After this you will be transferred back to the Taishan Railway Station to board a train for Beijing. Once you arrive at Beijing South Railway Station around 21:00 you will be picked up by our guide & driver again, and then be taken back to your hotel/apartment where the exciting tour ends!

Confucius, the great philosopher, politician and educator of the 6th-5th century B.C., is the founder of Confucianism. The Confucius Temple is the second largest ancient architectural complex in China (the largest being the Forbidden City). The Confucius Family Mansion houses a large quantity of historical files, culture relics, and costumes of different dynasties. The Confucius Family Graveyard is the largest and oldest family cemetery in China.

Tips for your tour guide and driver
Note
A. Have lunch on Mount Taishan. The condition of restaurant is not as good as that in Taian city.
B. On overnight train: The train attendant will wake you up around half an hour before arriving at the destination-Qufu Railway Station. Do not worry about missing the station.
C. About D32: The seats on multiple unit train are adjustable (fore or aft) and comfortable. There is a dining car on the train as well.
D. Train travel gets crowded on Chinese National Holidays. If your travel dates include these holidays, please be patient.
E. Only traditional Chinese meals are planned for your lunches, if this is not preferable please let your tour guide know in advance.
F. The Chinese are very welcoming people. Some Chinese travelers might show hospitality and even invite you for a group photo.
G. It takes about 3-5 hours to hike from Zhongtianmen to the top. Therefore you need to be in good shape and physically fit to make the trip. We recommend you take the cable car up if you have any doubts to your ability. When going down the mountain you can walk down or take the cable car. Walking down takes about 1.5 hours without rest.
H. This is a private tour package. No other travelers will join your exclusive group.
