School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Jiangsu University was set up in 2002, and is now composed of Department of Chemistry, Department of Chemical Engineering and Department of Applied Chemistry. The school also administers the Institutes of Applied Chemistry and Green Chemical Engineering. The school has 70 faculty members, including 15 professors and 18 associate professors. The school has about 750 students, of which are 630 undergraduate students and near 120 postgraduate students.
The school maintains strong international academic exchange and cooperation with foreign universities and institutions. Many famous scholars and scientists, including Nobel laureates, are invited to be guest professors of the School. In addition to the traditional research programs of inorganic, analytical, organic and physical chemistry, many interdisciplinary research programs such as surface chemistry, nano-chemistry, chemical biology, advanced materials sciences, porphyrin chemistry and environmental chemistry are ongoing in the school. Currently, BS, MS and PhD programs are offered by the school.

Application time
For international students, the deadline for admission is August 15 every year. The final decisions of admission are made upon application materials, examination record and health examination record. The Admission Letter will be sent out by the International Education Exchange College before August 15.

For Bachelor’s degree: Be in good health condition, have senior high school diploma and good academic record, have basic Chinese language ability for non-English courses, have good moral character, applicants who apply for Bachelor programs conducted in English should have certain English proficiency.
