The College of Animal Science and Technology is one of the earliest-established core colleges in Jilin Agriculture University. It has 17 professors and 27 associate professors and more than 40 doctor/master tutors. 40% of those teachers have got doctor’s degree while over 80% of them have got master’s degree. The college now holds 1,365 undergraduates and college students and more than 300 master/doctor candidates.
The College of Animal Science and Technology has 2 Jilin provincial key subjects (Preventive Veterinary Medicine, Animal Nutrition and Feed Science), a Jilin Provincial first-class lab (Lab of Preventive Veterinary Medicine) and other labs for animal nutrition, animal breeding, basic veterinary medicine, clinical veterinary medicine, aquiculture, etc. The college have also undertaken several national/provincial/departmental projects and gained many awards.
For the past many years, the College of Animal Science and Technology has been attaching great importance to the international exchange and cooperation and has established friendly cooperative relationships with several universities and scientific research institutes in Japan, South Korea, Canada, Italy and USA. Some teachers and students are also selected to study for a degree or do research abroad, which enhanced the college’s reputation.

Application Time
For international students, the academic year begins in September. The duration for application is from March 1st to June 30th.
Entry Requirements
Bachelor’s degree: Be above 18 years old and under the age of 35, senior high school graduate, HSK3 certificate or above, the copy of score list, in good health.
Master’s degree: Have Bachelor’s degree or above, under the age of 40, HSK3 certificate or above, the copy of score list and diploma, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good health.
Doctoral degree: Have Master’s degree or above, under the age of 40, the copy of score list and diploma, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good health.
