The College of Economics and Management was established on the basis of the major Agroeconomic Management which was set up in 1963. In order to optimize the major layout, the college integrated the Management major and merged with Land Resources Management major and the training center of accounting and e-business on the basis of the Economics major of Rural Commercial College in 2000. And in September 2006, it was renamed the College of Economics and Management.
The college has 4 labs (Economic Measurement Lab, Merchandising Lab, Case Lab and Land Resource Lab) and a reference room (library + periodical room). Currently there are 65 teachers, including 9 professors and 16 associate professors, 4 doctor tutors and 14 master tutors. Among these teachers, 8 have got a doctor’s degree and 43 have got a master’s degree.
For the past many years, the College of Economics and Management has cultivated 2,500 undergraduates and college students and 100 masters. At present, there are 2,113 undergraduates and college students, 37 master candidates and 31 doctor candidates, which make the college of Economics and Management the largest-scaled college in Jilin Agricultural University.
The College of Economics and Management has been focusing on research activities of local economic construction. It has undertaken 39 projects of all lever for the past few years. Moreover, the college also attaches importance to the international academic exchange and cooperation, and has established friendly cooperative relationships with agricultural economic experts and scholars from Japan, USA, Canada, Holland, etc.

Application Time
For international students, the academic year begins in September. The duration for application is from March 1st to June 30th.
Entry Requirements
Bachelor’s degree: Be above 18 years old and under the age of 35, senior high school graduate, HSK3 certificate or above, the copy of score list, in good health.
Master’s degree: Have Bachelor’s degree or above, under the age of 40, HSK3 certificate or above, the copy of score list and diploma, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good health.
Doctoral degree: Have Master’s degree or above, under the age of 40, the copy of score list and diploma, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good health.
