Business School at Jilin University, established in 1993, is one of the 56 Chinese Schools which offers MBA degree program and also one of the 23 schools that has an undergraduate major in CPA.
Business School consists of Department of Information System, Department of Enterprise Management, Department of Business Administration, Department of Accounting, Department of Finance, Department of Marketing, Department of Human Resources and Department of Tourism Management. The school also has two research institutes, i.e. the Institute of Applied Economics and the Institute of Business Administration.
There are more than 150 faculty members in Business School, among whom are 30 full professors and 35 associate professors. The Business School enrolls more than 2000 full-time undergraduates, 612 master's degree candidates and 99 doctoral degree students.
The School attaches importance to the exchange with the world. It has sent over 40 teachers to America, German, Japan, Canada, Holland, Korea, Britain, Hong Kong and other countries and regions for lectures, cooperative research and degree of study. The school has formal cooperation and exchange with University of Illinois in America, Curtin University of Technology in Australia, University of Otago in New Zealand and Seoul National University in South Korea. The school has also employed several world famous foreign experts as honored professors, guest professors.
The school is well equipped with library, microcomputer lab, certificated public accountant lab, MBA multimedia room and simulation lab for stocks and commodities trade. Besides those scholarships set up by the university, the school has set up scholarships such as Shengang Scholarship, Assistantship, Senchuan Scholarship, Xiaoguang Scholarship and so on. Each year nearly 30% of the students will be honored with those scholarships.

Application time
For Bachelor’s degree, the duration for application is from March 1st --July 30th. The academic year begins from August 25 to September 1 stated in the admission notice issued by the university.
For Master’s degree and Doctoral degree, the application time is from March 1 to May 30.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree: Applicants must be at least 18 years old; at least with a high school diploma. The applicants have adequate Chinese language proficiency (HSK Band 3 for science, and engineering students, Band 6 for humanities and social science). The students whose Chinese language is not proficient enough may enroll first in a one-year Intensive Chinese Language Study Program.
For Master’s degree: the applicants should have Bachelor’s degree, recommended by two associate professors or above, academic records, health certificate and HSK6 certificate or above.
For Doctoral degree: the applicants should have Master’s degree, academic records, recommended by two associate professors or above, health certificate and HSK6 certificate or above.
