The school of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Liaoning University, whose precursor was the combination of the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Institute of Material Medicament in Oct, 2007. It is engaged in teaching and research with the brace of advanced technology and high-qualified faculties. On the basis of strengthening the pharmaceutical technology of the students, it aims to train the students’ ability of scientific research and innovation, and it aims to raise the complicated talents of the abilities of pharmaceutical scientific research and management and pharmaceutical creation and so on.
At present, it covers the faculties of 31 members, 18 full-time teachers, 4 professors and 4 associate professors, 9 lecturers, 2 researchers and 2 associate researchers. Among them there are 8 PhD and 28 masters. Moreover, there are some superior oversea experts in pharmacy, biology and chemistry. It owns 183 full-time undergraduate students and 4 postgraduate students of Pharmacochemistry.
The special features of the school are capable of doing scientific research, transforming the research results rapidly. It has already won 3 national projects, the Innovation Funds of the Institute and the Professional Issue of the Torch Plan of National Science and Technology in 2004, the Professional Issue of National Nature Funds in 2006, 4 large projects on provincial levels and 7 on city levels. Its accidental institute of pharmaceutical material medicament has been regarded as the important lab of new drugs research in Shenyang. Now owning a great number of teaching and practicing bases, advanced equipments and laboratories, it has established wide corporations with many domestic companies of pharmaceutical engineering, enterprises of commercial pharmaceuticals and institutes of scientific research.

Application time
For undergraduates, master candidates and PhD candidates, the duration time of application is from March to July each year.
The time of entrance is September 1.
Entry requirements
Applicants must hold equivalent degrees with good results, in good health and aged 18 or above. For undergraduates, the applicants must graduate from senior high school, in good health and HSE should be or above 6.
For master and doctoral candidates, the applicants must win bachelor’s degree and master’s degree or trying for win bachelor’s degree and master’s degree, in good health and HSK should be or above 7, 2 recommended professors. The applicants can’t be color blindness.
