College of Art Design offers the following three Bachelor degree programs: Advertising, Art Design, and Industrial Design to about 1,200 full-time undergraduate students. The College has 40 teaching and administrative staff, of whom Master’s or doctoral degree holders account for 80% and senior academic title holders 75%, a very strong teaching force with a large proportion of excellent teachers in their prime of life with rich teaching and practice experience.
The College has the following teaching and experimental departments: Department of Art Design, Department of Industrial Design, and Department of Advertising, and Experiment Center of Art Design, all being equipped with first-class modern teaching equipment and experiment conditions. The Experiment Center of Art Design includes a Pottery Art Studio, a Woodwork Studio, an Apple Computer Room, a Photography Studio, a Non-practical Editorial Room, and an Advertisement Design Studio. The tenet of schooling of the College is to train high-level application-oriented professionals with both theoretical accomplishments and practical skills, and creative capabilities, who will be able to acclimatize themselves to the development of the new era.
