The School of Medicine at Nankai University was established in 1993. It aims to train professionals with nobly medical ethics, broad knowledge of Humanities & Social Science, solid medical basic theories and strong practical abilities. Currently, it has an enrollment of 450 students.
Clinical Medicine takes advantage of the mode of united running school. There are over one hundred teachers distributed in 13 affiliated hospitals and school hospitals, including the PLA Hospital, the 254th Hospital, Institute of Hematology Specialty in Chinese Academy of Medicine Science, the First Central Hospital in Tianjin, and the Third Central Hospital in Tianjin, Tianjin Tumor Hospital, Tian Children Hospital and Tianjin Stomatological Hospital. At present, it covers over 8 majors, including Clinical Medicine, Stomatological Clinical Medicine, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Imaging and Nuclear Medicine, Surgery, Gynemetrics and Otorhinolaryngology, etc. Basic Medicine and Modern Biomedical put great emphasize on scientific research of the causes and therapy of the following diseases: angiocardiopathy, malignancy, degenerated neurons and so on. The group of the scientific research in Basic Medicine and Modern Biology Medicine is strong and solid. It has a capacity of over 50 teachers and researchers and the research expense has reached more than RMB20 million.
The research in Clinical and Basic Bio-medical has ranked in the first place in the world. The College has an idea that more and more people who is devoted to the development of Medicine can take part in Nankai University from home and abroad. On the essential of discipline construction, the base of superior series of read-around of Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree programs, the College aims to develop itself into an international college and a domestic famous institute.

Application time
For Bachelor’s degree, the duration for application is from March15 1 to April 15 every year. The academic year begins on September 1.
For Master’s and Doctoral degree, the time for application is March 1 to March 31. Examination: the last ten-day period of May
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree: Applicants must be over the age of 18 and in good health, notarized copy of senior high school diploma or highest diploma, Official HSK6 certificate or above.
For Master’s degree: Applicants must be above the age of 18 and in good health, at least have a Bachelor Degree with good academic performance, the transcript of Bachelor’s certificate and diploma, a study or research plan in Chinese or in English (no less than 800 words), two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors, HSK6 certificate or above.
For Doctoral degree:Applicants must be over 18 years-old and in good health, at least have a Masters degree with good academic performance, the transcript of Master’s certificate and diploma, a study or research plan in Chinese or in English (no less than 800 words), two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors, HSK6 certificate or above.
