In order to promote the internationalization of Northwest University and to attract more excellent international students to study at Northwest University, Northwest University set up the International Students Scholarship.
I. Application Eligibilities:
1. Degree and Age:
1) Non-Degree Language Program and Undergraduate Program Applicants should have at least senior-high diploma, and aged below 30.
2) Master Program Applicants should have bachelor degree or above, aged below 35.
3) Doctoral Program Applicants should have master degree or above, aged below 40.
2. Prerequisite Language Requirements:
1) Applicants for bachelor degree programs (excluding applying for Undergraduate Program of Chinese Language) should have HSK 4 certificate when apply
2) Applicants for master and doctoral degree programs should have HSK 5 Certificate when apply.

2. E-mail your
application materials to tonwu@nwu.edu.cn
3. Once approved,
post all your paper documents to College of International Cultural Exchanges of
Northwest University.
V. Application Materials:
1. Notarized
highest diploma (photocopy): Prospective diploma winners must submit official
proof of student status by their current school;
2. Academic
transcripts;
3. Valid HSK
Certificate, photocopy;
4. Photocopy of
passport and 2 photos of passport size;
5. Non-criminal
Record;
6. Two letters of
recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors
for master applicants.
7. Application
form (attached).
Note: The application materials
will not be returned disregard to successful admission or not. Certificates
other than in Chinese or English language must be translated to Chinese or
English by a legitimate notary authority.
