Founded in 1950, Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST) is located in the beautiful costal city of Qingdao known as the “ Eastern Switzerland”, it was formerly known as Qingdao Institute of Chemical Technology.
It is a comprehensive multi-disciplinary university offering academic degrees in Engineering, Science, Business, Management, Humanities, Medicine, Law.
It has two campuses, the Sifang Campus and the East Campus, covering 1638 mu with school buildings of 410,000 square meters.
QUST has a staff totaling1503, with 467 of them holding professorship, and 16 of them are PhD tutors. At present the student number of QUST is 17,480, and 750 of them are postgraduates.
