The College of Humanities and Law is under the key construction of Shandong Agricultural University which aims to develop itself into a comprehensive university covering all the disciplines. The precursor of the College is the former Marxism-Leninism Teaching Section established in 1952. After years of development, the College was finally founded in June, 1996. Now it becomes a large college integrating talents training, political education of ideology, education of humanities and social science, and scientific research.
Currently, the College has 74 teachers and administrative staff. There are 68 full-time teachers with 9 professors and 26 associate professors. Among them, 7 are Doctoral degrees and 47 are Master’s degrees. The College embraces 2 departments, 3 majors and 2 institutes, including Department of Marxism Theory Education, Department of Ideological and Political Education, Program of Law, Program of Administrative Management, Program of Chinese Language and Literature, Institute of Countryside Development, and Institute of Agricultural Law.
The College is able to offer 3 bachelor’s programs: Law, Administrative Management, and Secretary Education. It has an enrollment of over 1500 students and 500 correspondence students of Law. It is home to moot courts, database, paper supervising studios, psychological laboratory, Putonghua testing studios, etc. Besides, there are also a total number of 700 experimental instruments and 50,000 volumes of professional books. The College still expands a lot of practical teaching bases which provides good conditions for the students in different majors.
At present, the faculty has an optimistic and enthusiastic attitude and adheres to mind emancipation, idea innovation, scientific development, active creation as well as energical work. They make every effort to develop the College into a multi-disciplinary and multi-level college integrating humanities and social science education and scientific research.

Application time
For international students, the academic year begins in September. The duration for application is from March 1st to June 30th.

For Bachelor’s degree:
Be above 18 years old, senior high school graduate, HSK3 certificate or above, in good health.
For Master’s degree:
Have Bachelor’s degree or above, HSK4 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good health.
For Doctoral degree:
Have Master’s degree or above, HSK4 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good health.
