Master Programs
Students are required to complete the curriculum and course duration between 2-3 years,fulfill the designated number of credits,complete the master's thesis and defend of it in front of a panel of experts.Successful candidates will receive a graduation certificate along with the Master's degree, in accordance to the regulation of the Degree Awarding Committee.
Application prerequisites:
Master's program: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, under the age of 40, have attained a bachelor's degree.
Application Materials
1.《XI’AN JIAOTONG UNIVERSITY APPLICATION FORM FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS》
2. Graduation certificate and degree diploma (Student expecting to graduate should provide an official letter starting expected graduation date), must be original documents or notarized copies either in Chinese or English.
3. Official transcripts of your academic achievement up to the present, including courses taken and standard achieved , must be original documents or notarized copies either in Chinese or English.
4. Two recommendation letters from your referees. The referees should be professors or persons with relevant academic title. At least one of them should have knowledge of your recent academic work. The format of the recommendation letter must be original documents either in Chinese or English.
5. A copy of your HSK report.
6. One photocopy of your valid passport (passport type must be ordinary).
7. Application fee 400 RMB.(Non Refundable)
Admission
Once the application materials are examined proved qualified, admission letters will be sent out around the late July.
Tuition Units: RMB Yuan/year
Registration fee: 400 Yuan/year
Board Fee: 3000—6000 RBM/year
Basis Requirements
1. Candidates must be regular students; they must not be on leave of absence or suspended from the school.
2. Obey all Chinese laws and university rules, register on-time, study hard, and have superior grades.
3. Graduate students: Superior grades, great research ability, creative thought are all requisite.

Values of Scholarships
Master High-level International students Scholarship:
1st Prize: exempt total tuition fee；12,000RMB/per year 5 students
2nd Prize:exempt total or portion tuition fee
(Note: International students who receive scholarships from the Chinese government do not directly receive the scholarship. They will only physically receive a certificate of honor and a souvenir)
