The School of Management, founded in the university in 1928, is the earliest management school in the universities of the county. It is also the first one in awarding doctoral degree in the field of management engineering and the first one to build a post-doctoral station. It is also among the first group of universities in trial institutes in building a MBA program and a post-doctoral station. In the recent 10 years, the School has finished nearly 100 projects of '863' key research items sponsored by the Natural Science Foundation. Of all the projects, 3 have received the First Class of National Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and local governments. More than 1000 theses have been published in the key periodicals and magazines both at home and abroad. And also about 100 kinds of academic monographs and textbooks have been composed, compiled and published.
At present, The management School is composed by the industrial Engineering, the Business Administration Department and other 6 ones, the strategy and Decision Research Institute and Population and Economy Research Institute and other 4 ones and 2 research centers. There are approximately 143 faculty, among them there are 29 professors, 53 associate professors and senior engineers, and 18 of them are supervisors of the doctor's, and 9 experts who have made great contribution to the country and enjoyed government' 5 special allowance. The number of teachers who have got Ph.D. degrees and who are candidate of Ph.D. reaches 70. Its 4000 students include 150 Ph.D. and 3000 Masters (including. MBA). There are 2 doctoral degrees in management science and engineering (first discipline) and corporation administration. There are 7 disciplines which can grant master degrees, among them there are: management science and engineering, economic technology and administration, international trade, the science of economic law, accounting, corporation administration and MBA. There are also 7 majors for undergraduates. They are classified into three broad categories: management science and engineering, economies and business administration. With the "211" project being finished, the construction of disciplines is being perfected, and the centers for education and cultivation, research and consultation have been developed into shape.
The Management School has complete teaching facilities. The School Library consists of more than 30000 books; among them nearly 10000 are in their original versions. It is also equipped with compact disc searching system and microfiche system, and the School has established exchanging relations of books with universities abroad. The latest books in management can be available in the library. The central laboratory of the School consists of the industrial Engineering Lab, Tourism & Hotel Lab, Information Retrieval Lab, English Typing' classroom and computer work station. The School also has two language labs with audio and visual functions. In addition, its modern and electronic teaching facilities and comprehensive service system for teaching and research can create favorable conditions for improving teaching and accomplishment of scientific research.

Entry Requirements
For Bachelor’s degree: the applicants should have senior high school diploma or above, win good results in the entrance examination, over the age of 18, under the age of 35, and HSK certificate transcript copy.
For Master’s degree: the applicants should have Bachelor’s degree or above, recommended by two associate professors or above, win good results in the entrance examination, under the age of 40 and HSK certificate transcript copy.
For Doctoral degree: the applicants should have Master’s degree or above, win good results in the entrance examination, recommended by two associate professors or above, under the age of 45 and HSK certificate transcript copy.
