The School of Economics & Finance, Xi'an Jiaotong University has the faculty of 209, among whom there are 167 teachers including 31 professors and 61 associate professors, 12 of whom are the supervisors of doctoral candidates and 66 of whom are supervisors of master candidates, 12 professors are awarded the honor of "outstanding experts" at national, provincial or ministerial levels. There are approximately 2600 students including doctor degree candidates, master degree candidates and undergraduates.
The School of Economics & Finance has the post-doctoral mobile station in the major of applied economics that is the first and only one in the northwest of China. There are 7 majors awarding doctor degrees. They are finance, industrial economics, international trade, international economics, regional economics, econometrics, statistics, cameralistics, labor economics, and national economics. There are also 12 disciplines offering master degrees including finance, industrial economics, cameralistics, statistics, west economics, management science and engineering, techno-economics, management, international trade, regional economics, population econometrics, resources and environment and Master of Business Administration (MBA). 12 disciplines are authorized to award Bachelor's degrees, including finance, financial information, engineering direction economics ,statistics, international trade, e-commerce, and cameralistics.
The School of Economics & Finance has a solid foundation and rich human resource in science research. Since 1978, it has achieved more than 5000 research results, among which more than 100 results are awarded prizes at the provincial and ministerial level or the national level. Especially in recent years it has been given and accomplished much more scientific research projects offered by province and ministries. With outstanding social effects achieved.
The School of Economics & Finance has complete teaching hardware apparatus, the experiment center of fundamental teaching provides an excellent condition of major projects of discipline construction of "Action Plan", with the completion of such laboratories as the center of China economic and financial regulation, the laboratory of electronic commerce, the laboratory of network banking, the hardware apparatus have been invested a lot to build 10 centers of teaching research, including finance, industrial and regional economics, international trade, economics and statistical information and cameralistics...An electronic reading room has also been built.

Entry Requirements
For Bachelor’s degree: the applicants should have senior high school diploma or above, win good results in the entrance examination, over the age of 18, under the age of 35, and HSK certificate transcript copy.
For Master’s degree: the applicants should have Bachelor’s degree or above, recommended by two associate professors or above, win good results in the entrance examination, under the age of 40 and HSK certificate transcript copy.
For Doctoral degree: the applicants should have Master’s degree or above, win good results in the entrance examination, recommended by two associate professors or above, under the age of 45 and HSK certificate transcript copy.
