The School of Economics & Management is regarded as a teaching-research school which keeps economic & management remaining dominant. Its precursor was the Department of Economics & Management established in 1985. With years of development, it was renamed as the present school in November, 2005.At present, it has a total number of 3818 undergraduates and 153 graduates.
The faculty of the School is capable of teaching and scientific research. They have high education background, high comprehensive qualities, and a balanced combination of age and knowledge of its members. The School now owns totally 122 staff members with 99 full-time teachers. Among them, there are 18 full professors, 20 associate professors, with 16 granting for Doctor Degree. In the past 5 years, the School has made great achievements in scientific research. It has undertaken 12 projects of National Natural Science Fund, 4 projects of National Social Science Fund, one project of National Ministry of Science and Technology and 4 provincial and ministerial projects. And it has published 372 academic papers.
Currently, the School covers 4 Departments: International Economics & Trade, Management Science and Engineering, Industrial Management, Accounting. It has a capacity of 8 bachelor programs, including Economics, International Economics & Trade, Information Management and Information System, Electronic Business, Industry and Business Management, Marketing, Human Resources Management and Accounting, 4 master programs of Regional Economics, Management Science and Engineering, Industrial Economics, and Business Management, and one master program for Engineering (Textile Economics and Industrial Management).
The School lays great importance to scientific research. It is home to more than 10 institutes, and experimental center of Economics and Management Science, as well as training center of Economics and Management. Depending upon profound facilities, high-qualified teachers and versatile students, the School will enjoy higher position in the academic world.

Undergraduate students: 4-5 years
Postgraduate students: 2-3 years
Doctoral students: 3 years
Application time
The time for application is September to January for spring term, March to August for autumn term.
The time for enrollment is End of January or February for spring term, September for fall term.

For Bachelor’s degree:
Be above 18 years old, senior high school graduate, HSK3 certificate or above, in good physical condition.
For Master’s degree:
Have Bachelor’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
For Doctoral degree:
Have Master’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
