Established in June, 2002, the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture owns 4 Departments and laboratorial centers. It is also home to abundant institutes which provide good hardware facilities for the teachers and students. The School offers 5 bachelor programs including Building Environment and Facilities, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, and Landscape Architecture.
At present, the School has a capacity of 73 faculty members, including 61 full-time teachers. Among them, there are 5 professors, 15 associate professors, and 35 lecturers with 51 Doctoral and Master’s degrees. The School owns 11 outstanding backbone youth teachers. Currently, the School has a total number of over 1600 undergraduate students.
The School puts great emphasize on scientific research. It has undertaken 10 projects of “863 Project”, National Natural Science Fund, Provincial Natural Science Fund, and won 5 ministerial awards. In recent years, it has published a total number of over 100 pieces of papers. The School adheres to the principle of “Bases on Zhejiang, orient towards the whole country, rely on the construction industry and service of urbanization”. According to the demands of the society, it runs the pedagogy with its own features. The School has formed up major features of Interial Design, Structure Engineering, and City Gas Engineering.
The School attaches great importance to academic exchange. It has established friendly relationship with Saga University of Japan. The School is able to host international conferences as well. It regularly invites a large number of domestic and international famous scholars to be shared, part-time and guest professors in the school. They play an importance part in the discipline construction. The School aims to develop into a national-advanced, provincial-best and teaching-research school.

Application time
The time for application is September to January for spring term, March to August for autumn term.
The time for enrollment is End of January or February for spring term, September for fall term.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree:
Be above 18 years old, senior high school graduate, HSK3 certificate or above, in good physical condition.
For Master’s degree:
Have Bachelor’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
For Doctoral degree:
Have Master’s degree or above, HSK3 certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good physical condition.
