Founded in 1984, Zhejiang Pharmaceutical College is the only pharmaceutical type of college in Zhejiang province. The college, which is under the direct administration of Zhejiang Food and Drug Administration, is located in the south of higher education zone for the city of Ningbo.
Zhejiang Pharmaceutical College encompasses an area of 155,333 square meters, with school buildings covering 160,000 square meters of floor space. As of Dec. 2014, there are about 7600 full-time students enrolled at Zhejiang Pharmaceutical College. Among its approximate 400 standing faculty members, nearly 100 people have the title of associate professor or professor. And there are about 200 people holding masters and/or doctorate degrees.
