Introduction of Shandong Normal University
Shandong Normal University (SDNU, hereafter) is a key comprehensive university in Shandong Province, and has been established for more than 60 years. SDNU now has an enrollment of 37,000 full-time students. It is one of the first groups of universities approved by the Ministry of Education of China to enroll international students including those who enjoy Chinese Government Scholarship and Confucius Institute Scholarship.
SDNU is situated in Ji'nan, capital city of Shandong Province. The Province is Confucius’ hometown, which is well recognized as the origin of the development of Chinese education and the birthplace of Chinese culture as well as the place to transmit Chinese culture. Ji'nan is also known as the “City of Springs”. As a beautiful tourism city, it is on the list of the first batch of the Famous Cities of Chinese History and Culture.
In order to promote international education and attract excellent students all over the world to study at SDNU, we establish International Student Scholarship.

Scholarship Criteria
Full scholarship: Exempt from Registration fee, tuition fee, fee for laboratory experiment, fee for internship, and fee for basic learning materials; Accommodation fee for dormitory on campus; Living allowance; Comprehensive Medical Insurance and Protection Scheme for International Students in China.
International travel expenses should be self-afforded.
Criteria & Eligibility
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and be in good health.
2. Education background and age limit:
※ Applicants for Chinese language or other specialties studies must have senior high school diploma with good academic performance and be under the age of 40.
※ Applicants for Bachelor’s degree studies must have senior high school diploma with good academic performance and be under the age of 30.
※ Applicants for master’s degree studies must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
※ Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
