Kenneth Wang School of Law of Soochow University was the earliest talents training bases of Law in Jiangsu Province. It was found in 1986 with the government permission after great changes for a long period. The President Kenneth Wang returned to his Alma Mater to take part in the century celebration in May, 2000 when the Law School of Soochow University was named Kenneth Wang School of Law. Kenneth Wang who took a fancy to the scenes of Alma Mater established the first oversea special fund of Law School.
The School owns a number of 55 full-time teachers, including 16 professors, 23 associate professors among whom 79.1% are at advanced level, 28 of them are doctoral degrees, and 15 of them are master degrees including 4 doctoral candidates. The faculties have a right attitude of teaching and research, loving teaching, winning good results in both teaching and scientific research. Owning a group of work talents, it rapidly falls in a superior atmosphere of helping teaching and learning with scientific research. At present, it covers one course for Bachelor’s degree, one doctoral station and 9 master stations of International Law.
Currently, it owns a key library of 60,000 volumes of books. it puts great emphasize on establishing wide relationships and corporations with a great number of domestic and international universities, courts, enterprises, institutes & centers of law research, etc. It has established institutional relationship with more than 100 colleges and universities in Japan, France, Korea, Singapore, Germany, America, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong And Iaiwan. Annual enrolment of international students reaches more than 1000 in Chinese language and other programs.

Application time
For undergraduate candidate, master candidate, PhD candidate, the duration time of application is from the end of February to the end of July. The time of entrance is September 1.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree: the applicants should have senior high school certificate or equivalent, HSK 6 certificate and application form.
For master’s degree: the applicants should have bachelor’s degree or above, recommendation letters written by 2 associate professors or above, HSK6 certificate and application form.
For doctoral degree:the applicants should have master’s degree or equivalent, recommendation letters written by 2 associate professors or above, HSK 6 certificate and application form.
