Tour Highlights
Lhasa
Lhasa is rightly one of the most featured and dreamt-about cities in the world. This is not only because of its remoteness, its high altitude at 3,650 meters (11,975 feet) means limited accessibility, but also because of its impressive heritage of over a thousand years of cultural and spiritual history that has helped to create the romantic and mysteriousTibetan religion.

Potala Palace
Originally built by King Songtsen Gampo in the seventh century, Potala Palace is located on the Red Hill of Lhasa, Tibet. Potala Palace is the seat of Dalai Lamas and also the political center of Tibet. Mainly comprised by the White Palace (administerial building) and the Red Palace (religious building), Potala Palace is famous for its grand buildings, complicated constructions, devotional atmosphere and splendid artworks.

Jokhang Temple
Jokhang Temple was included on UNESCO's World Heritage list in 2000 as part of the Potala Palace. It was located in central Lhasa in Tibet, with an area of 25,100 square meters (about six acres), and it is the ultimate pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Pilgrims.

Shigatse
Shigatse means 'the fertile land'. Covering an area of over 3875 square kilometers, this frontier city is the second largest in Tibet. It sits in the plain at the confluence of the Yarlong Tsangpo and Nyangchu Rivers, where Tibet's most fertile land is to be found. With some thirteen ethnic groups including Tibetan, Hui and Man, Shigatse is a typical living area for minority nationalities.
