Introduction

Erhu training courses of different level are offered for foreign learners who want to learn to play Chinese musical instrument and experience authentic Chinese culture.

Referring to Chinese musical instruments, erhu should not be ignored for it represents an important part of Chinese folk art. Through the elementary, intermediate or advanced training course for erhu, you will master the performing skills for erhu.
Training Objects
Foreign friends above 16 years old who are interested in playing erhu and want to improve personal artistic accomplishment through the practice
Training Objectives
1. Improvement of learners’ temperament and artistic accomplishment
2. Skillful performing skills for erhu
3. Accurate appreciation ability for famous erhu compositions
Training Contents
1. Theoretical introduction of erhu including its structure and type, etc.
2. Basic training of performing skills including bowing, scales, long and short bow practice, intonation exercise, and exercise for sound pattern.
3. Practice through playing famous compositions of erhu
Training Materials
There will be 3 books for erhu training chosen by our experienced teachers.
