The School of Economics & Management at Beijing University of Technology is a developing school full of vigor. After 25 years of development, the School has developed itself into a characteristic base of teaching and scientific research which ranks a famous school of its kind domestically.
At present, it owns more than 110 full-times teachers. 50% of them have been entitled senior titles. It covers 11 majors integrating the main 5 disciplines of Economics, Management and Law. It offers master programs in Management Science & Engineering, International Economics & Trade, Quantity Economics, and Enterprise Management. Management Science & Engineering is also offered for doctoral program and post-doctoral research.
The enrollment of the School has ranked in the third place of the university. Up till now, it has a total number of more than 1600 undergraduates, 500 part-time students, 208 graduates and over 50 doctorates. Besides, the School will enroll a considerable number of international students for Degree programs every year. In recent years, the School puts great emphasize on teaching and scientific research. A lot of related computer teaching laboratories and institutes have been established in the School. The fund of scientific research has been increasing year by year and many achievements have been made.
The School always attaches great importance to academic exchange both domestically and internationally. It has a close relationship with a lot of universities, institutes, provincial governments and enterprises at home and abroad. What’s more, it regularly invites some famous experts and professors to speech or teaching in the school which provides a good exterior environment for the discipline construction and talents training. For international students, the academic year begins in September. The deadline for application is before July 30th.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree:
Be above 18 years old, senior high school graduate, HSK certificate or above, in good health.
For Master’s degree:
Have Bachelor’s degree or above, under the age of 40, HSK certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good health.
For Doctoral degree:
Have Master’s degree or above, under the age of 45, HSK certificate or above, academic score list, 2 recommended letters from two associate professors or above, in good health.
