Detailed itinerary
Day 1 Chongqing- Lhasa
The visitors will gather at Caiyunba Railway Station in Chongqing and then take Qinghai-Tibet train T222/3 at 7:20 pm to Lhasa. The comfortable and bright carriage will give you a good mood.
Day 2 Chongqing- Lhasa
On the train, appreciate the scenery of the Sichuan Basin, the charm of the Loess Plateau scenery. Enjoy the flirtation expressions of Northwest China and start to adapt to the plateau climate.
Day 3 Lhasa D
Appreciate the sightseeing of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, go through Gomud, Mt.Kunlun, Tuotuo River, Danggula Mountains, Nagqu, Damxung and then reach Lhasa at 7:55 pm. The railway station has an altitude of 3658 meters and then drive to the urban district of Lhasa, appreciate the pure air of the plateau. After that, register in the hotel and rest to adapt to the plateau climate.
Day 4 Polata Palace B+L+D
In the morning, visit the world highest palace buildings and the world cultural heritage- Potala Palace which is divided into two parts of Red Palace and White Palace. In the afternoon, lead to visit the Summer Palace built by Dalai Lamas of the mid-18th century – Luobulin Fortress. Inside, there are many attractive frescoes which are the most typical, most prosperous and most beautiful Fortress in Tibet. Then go to visit one of the most ancient steets- Bakhor Street and enjoy the freely visit and buying the Tibetan handicraft products.
Day 5 Namtso B+L+D
After breakfast, drive to the heavenly lake- Namtso which is located in 250 Km away from the northwest of Lasha- Damxung County. It is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet famous for its high altitude, large space and fascinating scenery. After visiting, go back to Lhasa with passing the largest geothermal factory- Yangbajing Geothermal Elect-Station. The visitors can be self-service to enjoy the hot spring due to the physical situation and adaptation of the climate.
Day 6 Lhasa- Manasarova Lake –Nyingchi B+L+D
Along the way, enjoy the sightseeing of Yanghe valley with the genuine feeling of primeval forest, the clear water. Manasarova Lake is surrounded by mountains, mild climate, has average altitude of 4,000 meters. The lake area is 28 square kilometers, the depths of 60 meters. There is a small island in the lake concerning this temple was built in Tang Dynasty. Snowy peaks, glaciers, virgin forest sites are tightly around here which make the lake like a fairy tale (cruise self-care).
Day 7 Nyingchi- Lhasa B+L+D
In the morning, enjoy the cupressus gigantean trees with 2,500 years history in Nyingchi. Then go to enjoy the sightseeing of Bayizhen City and appreciate the beautiful natural scenery of Niyang River. Along the way, go through the ancient Apaifei Village, overlook Jokhang buildings and experience the Comba suspension bridges. After that, take pictures in the center of the river and build the Nimaya representing happiness and quietness.
Day 8 Lhasa- Chongqing B
After arrive at Chongqing Airport, you will be free.
