School of Management, China University of Mining and Technology was established in 1953. Since its foundation, the School has adopted the advanced international business education curriculum. These advanced theories and concepts include teaching resources in business administration, marketing, financial management, accounting and other courses. A majority of the faculty members can teach in English, and use texts and case studies in English.
The School of Management has five research institutes: Research Institute of Economy and Management Complexity, Research Institute of Energy Economics and Management, Research Institute of Financial Engineering and Risk Management, Research Institute of Business Management and Research Institute of Finance and Accounting. And five departments: Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Economics and Management Science and Engineering.
Now the School totally has 151 staff and 121 tenure faculty members, among whom there are 23 professors and 42 vice-professors, 56% of whom have PhD degrees from top universities in China and abroad. The School offers a variety of programs at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The undergraduate program covers seven specializations, the postgraduate program covers 11 subjects and the doctoral program consists of four specializations.
