College of Law in Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications is a significant academic branch of Humanities and Social Sciences Institute. It offers three postgraduate programs, namely Marxist theory, ideological morals, and humanistic study. As a well-structured academic team, the teachers in the College enjoy great reputation in the fields of teaching and scientific research. Out of the total number of 56 teachers, 60 percent of them have Master’s degree at least, including 13 professors and 12 associate professors.
Undertaking a number of national or provincial level social science programs, the College of Law has made remarkable progress in recent years. It is the first college in Chongqing which had its own administration of justice in charge of plant and animal genes and audio-visual information. Cooperating with all levels of courts, prosecutors, public security organs and a number of law firms, and communications management agencies, the College has established a close working net in this field which ensures the students great opportunities for studying in real practice.
Relying on abundant resources the university provides, the College of Law has developed dramatically in recent years. It provides well-conditioned teaching facilities, advanced digital trial court and a full range of information for all types of cases to meet the various teaching and research needs.

Application time
Application is accepted at any time of the year in CQUPT. And the spring semester begins around the beginning of March, while the fall semester begins at the beginning of September.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s program: Be in good health condition; with senior high school diploma and HSK certificate of level 4 or above;
For Master’s program: Be in good health condition; with Bachelor degree and HSK certificate of level 6 or above;
Note: for preparatory students, they should be with senior high school diploma and without Chinese knowledge;

Note: for foreign students who want to learn Wushu, the tuition fee is RMB 7,000 for one semester and 14000 for one year; For Chinese language learning, the tuition fee is RMB 600 for one week, RMB 6000 for one semester and RMB 12,000 for one year.
