The College of Literature and Journalism is founded in 2007, whose processor for the Humanities Artistic Institute.
The college owns a vibrant faculty mainly composed of young and middle-aged teachers. At present, there are 36 teachers, including 17 professors and associate professors. Among these teachers, more than 80% have a master’s degree. The present students, including undergraduates, graduate students have reached the number of 400. CLJ has eight teaching subsections: the section of ancient Chinese literature, broadcasting and television journalism, broadcasting and television playwright, international news, journalism and mews media. The college has comprehensive functional news media center with advanced technical equipment.
Since its establishment, it has educated lots of professionals in all levels of administration, academic research, journalism, and in education for the country. Some of these students have made outstanding contributions to their work. Many of the graduates were given various state-level and ministry-level awards. Nearly 200 experts, professors and teachers who are engaged in the study of Chinese literature, journalism and mass media have received more than 20 national, provincial and ministerial-level awards in education and scientific for their hard work and dedication in the education career.
The college has established good cooperation relationship with Chongqing branch of the Xinhua Agency, Chongqing sva group, Chongqing newspaper group and Chongqing publishing group. The CLJ has close cooperation with many foreign universities and institutions, such as Radford University of USA, University Robert Schuman-Strasbourg 3 of France and so on.

Application time
If the students intend to be admitted in autumn, they must apply before Jun, 15. If they want to enroll in spring, they should apply before Nov, 20.
Entry requirements
The students who want to apply for the college of Literature and Journalism must prepare the related certificates and the copies of the passport, and two recommendation letters from professional persons.
