Day by day itinerary
Day 1 Urumqi
Gather in Urumqi and transfer to hotel to know teammates.
Day 2 Urumqi-Aksu
After breakfast go to Tianshan Mountain to visit Heaven Pool as well as snow mountains, lakes and deodar cedars. After lunch, take train to Aksu where you can admire Gebi scenery along the way.
Day 3 Aksu
The train will arrive in Aksu in the morning. After breakfast, go to the first camp by the off-road vehicle. You can enjoy the scenery from Snow Mountains to oasis, from desert to river valley. We will stop for midway rest along forest to enjoy the first picnic.
Day 4
Leave the first camp to the second camp and distances between them are 100kms.
Day 5
After breakfast, continue the trip to the third camp. When arrived, rearrange the teammates and goods. Go back to Aksu on the same way.
Day 6
You can enjoy this trip travel on donkey! So funny, isn’t it? The plan is 20-25kms per day and 9 hours everyday. The most attractive things are you can catch fish in rivers and catch wild rabbit in desert!
Day 7
After breakfast, ride on donkey and continue our trip. With this slow speed, you can appreciate the wonderful view of Taklimakan Desert.
Day 8
Continue the trip to cross Taklimakan Desert. The most breath-taking scenery is Tugai forest. They are living in such a harsh condition while still grow up year by year! Later you will see the only one mountain-Mazatageshan Mountain (1413meters high) in Taklimakan Desert.
Day 9
After breakfast, ride on donkey to continue our trip. After 200kms journey, you we will arrive in Hetian (old name was Yutian ancient kingdom) which is famous for white jade. A party will be held at night to celebrate this successful trip.
Day 10
After breakfast, leave Hetian for Kashkar via Yingjisha, famous for Xinjiang knife. After arrival, free activities on Chairman Mao Square.
Day 11
After breakfast, travel around Kashkar at which you can visit the oldest mosque in China, the Xiangfei Tomb, Sunday Market, etc. After supper, leave Kashkar for Urumqi by air and transfer to hotel.
Day 12
After breakfast, go to visit International Dazaba and fruit market. After lunch, take plane back home.
