Day by day itinerary
Day 1
Leave Guangzhou for Urumqi by air. After arrival, gather at Xinjiang Museum. After supper, take travel train to korla.
Day 2
The train will arrive in Korla in the morning. After breakfast, take off-road vehicle to Lop Nor and gather at Tianshan Mountain NO.1 camp. You can admire Gebi desert scenery, and Tugai forest.
Day 3
After breakfast, traverse Gebi and visit Sun Tomb. After lunch, go to visit Kroraina Ancient Kingdom and admire Sun-set in desert.
Day 4
Enjoy sun-rise at Yadan Dragon City and then go to Peacock River on foot. Go back to East Kroraina Camp at afternoon.
Day 5
Wander in Kroraina Ancient Kingdom, where you can see tope, private house and barriers, etc. After finished, go back to riverside and set up camps for the night.
Day 6
At first, go to visit Lake-center Monuments and then visit Milan Ancient Castle and Tope ruins.
Day 7
After breakfast, traverse along desert to visit Tugai forest green corridor and later visit Puchang Ancient City Ruins and the longest Yellow Brick Road in the world.
Day 8
After breakfast, take bus back to Urumqi.
Day 9
Journey ends.
