Day by day itinerary
Day 1 Zhengzhou-Nanjing-Wuxi (about 180kms, 3 hours)
Leave Zhengzhou for Nanjing by air (8:10-9:05) and transfer to the Confucius Temple Business Street (about 1.5hours), while on the road you can visit Wuyixiang, Wende Bridge, Wenshufang and Zhaobi. And then go to visit the Alice palace of Ming dynasty, city-wall and taste local food at your own expense. Later go to visit the President house (about 1.5 hours) where you can see Sun Yat-sen, first president of the Republic of China, his office, tongyinguan, mandarin duck pavilion and then visit Terrace of the Raining Flowers (about 1.5 hours). Transfer to Wuxi by bus.
Stay at hotel in Wuxi for the night with supper.
Day 2 Wuxi-Suzhou (about 65kms, 1 hour)-Wuzhen (about 140kms, 1.5 hours)
Visit Lingshan Buddha tourist site (about 3 hours) where you can see the 88 meters high Buddha, magnificent Buddhism performance to ask for health and wealth for the Buddha. Then visit Lingshan Buddhist temple and have lunch in it. After lunch, go to visit the Lion Forest (about 1 hour) to feel the charming of Suzhou Gardens. The Lion Forest is one of the fourth most famous gardens in the south of Yangzi River. Later visit Hanshan Temple (about 50 minutes). Then transfer to Wuzhen.
Stay at hotel in Wuzhen with three meals.
Day 3 Wuzhen-Hangzhou (about 90kms, 1 hour)
Visit Wuzhen (about 2 hours) where you can see Money-god Bay, Mao Dun‘s old house (famous writer in China). While wandering in the old streets and tasting the local foods, you will feel relax. Then transfer to Ming and Qing hefang Street (about 1 hour) and watch silk performance. Taste local foods for supper. After supper, watch the large-scale performance of Song Danesty.
Stay at hotel in Hangzhou with breakfast and lunch.
Day 4 Hangzhou-Xitang (about 90kms, 1.5 hours)-Shanghai (about 80kms, 1 hour)
Travel around the West Lake by boat (about 40 minutes) to get close to this beautiful and peaceful lake and see Santanyinyue, Duanqiao and Pinghu etc. Taste Longjing Tea. After lunch, transfer to Xitang, famous for many bridges, streets and porches. Later, transfer to Shanghai.
Stay at hotel in Shanghai with three meals.
Day 5 Shanghai-Zhengzhou
Visit Pudong new district, Shiji Road, Nanpu Bridge and Pujiang Tunnel in the bus to feel the big change of Shanghai. Later, go to visit Shanghai old streets and Chenghuangmiao. Leave Shanghai for Zhengzhou (15:20-16:55 or 19:55-21:40) to end this happy journey. Breakfast will be offered.
