Tour Schedule:
Day 1: Beijing-Xian by flight
Our English-speaking tour guide and private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Beijing, and then drive to Beijing airport to take a flight to Xian (2 hours). Upon arrival at Xian airport, you will be met by our local guide (she/he will hold a sign with your name at the exit) and transferred to your hotel to check in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax.
Day 2: Xian City Tour (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
Be picked up from your hotel at 9:00am. Drive to visit Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum - the Eighth Wonder of the World. Take sightseeing in this attraction for about 2 hours. After a local lunch, move on to visit the Tomb of Qinshihuang for 1 hour. You will also have chance to visit a famous Handmade Pottery Factory in Xian before dinner. You will also enjoy a Chinese dinner with "Dumpling Banquet" and enjoy the Tang Dynasty Dancing and Music Show in the evening. After visits, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 3: Xian Qianling Tomb & Famen Temple Tour (Breakfast + Lunch)
Pick up at your hotel and drive to West of Xian and visit Qianling Tomb, It is a joint tomb of Gaozong, the third emperor of the Tang Dynasty and his Empress Consort, Wu Zetian who was the only female monarch in the Chinese history. Lunch will be arranged at a local family. You will taste the typical Xian peasant's food and wander around the village after lunch. Then you will visit the Famen Temple which figured prominently in Tang times because emperors of the Tang Dynasty paid homage to the legendary "relic of the Buddha," or more specifically, "the finger-bone of the Buddha," that had been enshrined in the pagoda attached to this temple. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 4: Xian-Beijing by evening flight (Breakfast + Lunch)
Morning visit Shaanxi Provincial Museum. It is a comprehensive museum with more than 370,000 exhibits of different times and kinds. Then drive to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda, it is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It functioned to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang. After lunch, we will visit the Ancient City Wall and the Great Mosque. There's a local bazaar near this area, you can choose some small souvenirs for your family and friends. At the end of the day we will drive back to Xian airport to catch your flight back to Beijing. Our Xian guide will help you with the check-in process; she/he will not leave until they see you off to the security check.
Upon arrival at Beijing airport, our guide and driver will meet you, and then transfer you to your hotel.

D. If your flight from Beijing is cancelled or delayed to a certain degree due to bad weather, mechanical problems, government acts, strike, etc. we will gladly refund ALL your money or if you would like, we may switch the tour to an alternate day with no extra cost.
E. Only traditional Chinese meals are planned, if this is not preferable please let your tour guide know in advance.
