The School of Pharmacy always puts great emphasize on teaching with religious teachers, outstanding students and rigorous scientific research atmosphere. It makes every effort to establish specific majors and peculiar disciplines in order to improve the quality and level of education. It aims to develop itself into a prominent school of teaching and scientific research in Jiangsu Province. In the past years, it has cultivated a considerable number of talents in pharmacy who contribute a lot to the national economic construction.
There are 3 Bachelor’s degree programs available covering Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Preparation, and Pharmaceutical Engineering. Besides, it is able to offer 3 authorized master programs including Pharmacognostics, Pharmaceutics and Traditional Chinese Pharmacology with 4 affiliated laboratories. Now it has a capacity of more than 600 undergraduate students and 100 graduate students who are widely needed in various institutes, hospitals and occupations. The School currently covers 40 staff with 8 full professors. Among the staff, 12 of them are PhD degrees and the Master’s degrees have a percentage of over 96.
The School is home to a large number of advanced, inward, precise instruments and facilities which provides good and convenient conditions both for teachers and students. The learning environment will be more comfortable and beneficial with which the students will consult to get an amazing learning experience in pharmacy. Besides for the high-qualified faculty members and advanced teaching instruments, the School also attached great importance to academic exchange with lots of universities, institutes and even enterprises both domestically and internationally.

Undergraduate students: 5-6years
Postgraduate students: 2-3 years
Doctoral students: 3-5 years
Application time
For international students, the deadline for admission is August 15 every year. The final decisions of admission are made upon application materials, examination record and health examination record. The Admission Letter will be sent out by the International Education Exchange College before August 15.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree: Be in good health condition, have senior high school diploma and good academic record, have basic Chinese language ability for non-English courses, have good moral character, applicants who apply for Bachelor programs conducted in English should have certain English proficiency.
For Master’s degree: Be in good health condition, have college graduation diploma and good academic record, have basic Chinese language ability for non-English courses, have good moral character, applicants who apply for bachelor programs conducted in English should have certain English proficiency.
For Doctoral degree:Be in good health condition, have Master’s degree and good academic record, have basic Chinese language ability for non-English courses, have good moral character, applicants who apply for bachelor programs conducted in English should have certain English proficiency.
