The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences originates from the Jiangxi Pharmaceutical College founded in 1951. After over 50 years’ development, it is now one of the most powerful colleges with high academic standard in the whole nation.
The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences now has a 8,000 square meters’ experimental area, of which, 4,000 square meters are used for the students’ experiments and the other 4,000 are used for the scientific research. The total value of the teaching equipments amounts to over 10 million yuan.
The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences offers 7 undergraduate programs (traditional Chinese pharmacology, pharmacy, pharmaceutical preparation, pharmaceutical engineering, environmental science, Chinese medicine resources and development, applied chemistry) and 6 master’s programs (traditional Chinese pharmacology, pharmacognostics, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacy, pharmaceutical analysis). Among the above mentioned programs, traditional Chinese pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacy and pharmaceutical analysis are 4 provincial level key disciplines. The experimental center of pharmacology is the demonstration experiment center of Jiangxi Province.
Currently, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences has 97 teaching and administrative staffs. Of the 84 full-time and part-time teachers, 15 are professors, 22 are associate professors, 27 are lecturers and 3 are senior experimentalists. Among the teachers, 16 are doctors, 36 are masters, 6 are provincial level academic leaders, 9 are provincial level young backbone teachers, 3 enjoy the special allowance of the state council, one is national outstanding teacher, etc.
In recent years, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences has published over 60 monographs and over 600 academic theses. Only in 2008, 9 theses were cited by SCI. Besides, it has held and participated in over 100 scientific research projects at different levels, of which, over 20 were at state-level and over 50 were at provincial level. It has won one national progress prize in science and technology, 2 provincial prizes in science and technology, one national teaching achievement prize, etc.

Entry Requirements
For Bachelor’s degree: Applicants must be under the age of 35 years, and in good physical condition, holding a non-China passport and having graduated from high school, academic records, have an HSK test score of grade 3 or above.
For Master’s degree: Applicants must be under 40 of age and in good physical condition, holding a non-China passport and a Bachelor’s degree, have 2 letters of recommendation from full professors or associate professors, have an HSK test score of level 5 or above.
