Day by day itinerary
Day 1 Nanjing-Lhasa
Gather at Nanjing Railway Station and transfer to Lhasa by the train T164.
Day 2
Admire the scenery along the rail.
Day 3
The train will arrive in Lhasa at night. After arrived, transfer to hotel to have a rest in order to adjust the high land environment.
Day 4 Lhasa
After breakfast, go to visit Potala Palace and take photo on Potala Palace Square. Later you can visit Jokhang Temple, with a history of 1350, the oldest temple in Lhasa. After that, you can have a free walk on Barkhor Street, in which converges all pilgrims from the country. On Barkhor Street you can have a panoramic view of Tibetan life. Stay in Lhasa with three meals.
Day 5
Leave Lhasa to visit Niyanghe on the road, and you can see the virgin forests, green mountains and clean water, just like you are traveling in Shangri-La.
Day 6
After breakfast, go to visit Bayi town. After that, visitors can transfer to Lulang forest by vehicle (120yuan/person at travelers own charge) to see the virgin forests and snow mountains. After finished, go back to Lhasa by vehicle.
Day 7
After breakfast, go to Yangpachen by vehicle to appreciate steam field together with the blue sky and Snow Mountains. Then go to visit the Nam Lake and Tibetan medicine plant.
Day 8
Leave Lhasa for Nanjing via Chengdu or Chongqing.
