Prof. Kenneth L. Carper from Washington State University was appointed as SEU’s “Visiting Professor”

17, Sept morning, the Employed Ceremony of Washington State University Prof. Kenneth L. Carper to be Southeast University’s “Visiting Professor” was held in second floor of auditorium of Four arched campus hall.  Deputy secretary of party committee Jingnan Liu awarded Prof. Kenneth L. Carper’sletter of appointment. Participates attended were leaders of Science and technology department and teacher and student representatives from Civil material transportation and other professional. The ceremony was held by Gang wu, presient of Civil Engineering College.

In the Ceremony, Professor Kenneth L. Carper showed his appreciation to Southeast Unviersity and made a report titled “Publishing in ASCE Journals”Prof. Carper’s visit will further strengthen Southeast University and Washington State University’s cooperation in Civil Engineering domain.

Kenneth L. Carper is now Washington state university building and construction management institute’s honorary professor one of founders of Incident Information Dissemination Committee of the American Society of Civil Engineers(ASCE). He was once the chairman of the committee, He has been chief editor of ASCE’s Journal of Performance of Constructed Facilities since 1986 as well as member of ASCE’s Publications Director Committee, participating in making all about the American civil engineers association publication policy. He has winned many teaching awards and the national judicial authentication honorary awards and published large amount of monographs and articles against Judicial engineering and design industry ethics problems
